"Not sure who bought them, but Boeing sells 8 more 737s
Chicago Tribune 10/10/03

The Boeing Co. said Thursday that it won eight orders for its 737 jetliners last week from an unidentified customer or customers, bringing total orders this year to 167.

Chicago-based Boeing disclosed the orders on its Web site. The aircraft are worth $328 million based on the low end of 737 catalog prices, which don't include discounts."

Any speculation from this forum on who the anonymous buyer is?

Mullet, Boeing moved their headquarters to Chi-town about a year ago.

Learjetguy: I'm sure that Mullet knows they moved, what he said that being from Seattle it was strange (ie weird, different) to see the Boeing company described as "Chicago based", instead of the old familiar "Seattle based' Boeing company.

Just a thought.
