Looking for some information on commuting out of TOL (preferably) or DTW. Can I get a parking pass? If so, how much will it cost? How much ahead of time do you arrive? Any other pertinent information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

crjdxr & DrewBlows,

Zingermann's Deli...best sandwiches in the world! Ann Arbor is a great town...(second gen M alumni) . Used to hang out at Dominicks (next to Law Quad) and Ricks (great bands).

Lived in and commuted from TOL-PIT for a bunch of years, also did the DTW commute when I was based in STL. TOL is hands down easier if you can make the flights work.

In TOL plan 2 minutes from lot to ticket counter, then once past security, about 2 minutes to the gate (if you're on the far end) You used to be able to buy employee parking at the long-term lot exit for $20/month with an ID, not sure if it's still the case.

DTW is a pain in the rear access-wise and expensive, but I still found it better than a 2-leg from TOL with the 60 minute drive.

Oh, one more advantage to TOL, it's in THE BUCKEYE STATE none of that M*ch*g*n crap to deal with :D :D
