I would choose your avatar.
Women that look like that and a beer or two will make you do really stupid things...

Pretend you are a 1500 hour CFI, and people are hiring all over.
The more realistic fantasy would have Anna involved!

small corporate operator, maybe. One that like to come home for the weekend.

Take the job that fulfills your personal needs and ambitions. If you don't yet know your ultimate goal, you have plenty of time to figure it out. (Besides, Anna might need her own jet someday and I don't think she dates airline pilots.)

You'll never get a serious response until you change that avatar, Fly! This board is so testosterone-dominated it's not even funny!

Choices

Hindsight is always 20/20. Maybe I would have sought corporate jobs. When I started looking fifteen years ago, corporate jobs were very hard to get. I actually tried for one job. A pilot I had known since I started flying flew a King Air for an oil company. After I made my decision to change careerrs I started hanging with him and spent afternoons helping him wax the airplane in hopes that I could sit in and build some time. The long and short of it is it never worked out. Besides, I had two friends who had gotten on with regionals and I felt that if they could do it I could do it.

Pick what makes you happy.

When you turn 60 take a look behind you and you will know if you made the right decision.

If Anna is still with you, then you chose wisely:D

Flew into ATL twice in the past 3 days and man those RJ's look extra sharp. I would go to a regional tomm. morning if it was that easy. Easy choice for me, but it is just "my" personal preference. After you hit "60" then try the other side of aviation or better yet, DO what makes Y O U happy.

I have friends and co-workers who flew for various and sundry corporate outfits. They all got tired to the "get my bag, boy" attitude of their passengers. It didn't sound like fun to me.

My opinion only: if you plan to make a living as a pilot, you can't beat an airline job. The day-to-day B.S. quotient of an airline job is much lower than that of a corporate job.

Now, if Anna wants you to fly her jet, that's another story.

(Sounds like a vague sexual euphamism..."fly her jet.")

In some countries, you can be flogged for puns like that... :D
