Which Grand Canyon Heli tour to take?

Hi,

I am planning a LAS weekend followed by a Pacific Highway ride in July. I was thinking about a heli ride to see the Canyon. The North Rim ride with Pappilon seemed very reasonable except it is a 4-5h drive from Vegas. I don't feel like driving 4h each way to do a 25 min heli ride plus we want to be back to see Circus de Soleil later that night. The west rim would be closer (2.5h) but I only see a short 5 min tour there.

Any suggestions, recommendations?

A little off topic, but does anyone know of any helicopter charter ops which have reciprocating jump seat privileges? I once heard that one of the NYC charter ops has a jumpseat agreement with American.

I believe with airline ID, Scenic will take you to the canyon for free from Las Vegas, North Town.
