We have a trip coming up to ISP and would like to know which FBO to go to? We flew into ISP last fall and went into Long Island Jet Center and the service was horrible.

I just want any experiences that you all have had going into ISP?

Thanks

I used to go exclusively to the "Jet Center", and they got expensive and careless. Careless like asking for 20 gallons (10 per side), and me returning and finding the tanks competely topped off. Also, a few times their fuel truck operators put my fuel caps on crooked, so I would have to pry them off with a screw-driver to check the fuel. This is a sure sign of a new employee who is not so bright.

Lately I have been going to "Mid Island", which is a small FBO just off the south side of the approach end of R/W 6. They are very friendly and I have not yet had any type of problems with them.

I was there today, and they are .50 cents a gallon cheaper than the Jet Center.

Mid Island/NY Jet is the better FBO. Long Island Jet is terrible. I don't know how they stay in business.
