Which FAR Covers Aircraft maintenance

Hey Everyone

I am looking to study up on which FAR/s pertains to aircraft maintenance; preventative maintenance in particular. This would be for Commercial Airlines and types such as the MD80 and B737-800.

At this point, I am looking to get: 1) General overview of which FARs pertain to A/C maintenance. Any information to get me started in the right direction is appreciated.

CFR 14, Chap 1, Part 121 addresses how you maintain your airplanes for an air carrier. The air carrier has to write a maintenance program to comply with the regs and submit it to the airline's PMI for approval.
