Personally I do think the kid airs a bit too much of personal business and I bet his mommy would think the same if she knew.

my kids will never hide in thier rooms on the computer. thats all I can say.

He's delt with a hell of a lot more ridicul then I've ever delt with in aviation and he's only been here for a couple months.

My friend.....I was a kid who started WAAAY young into aviation. I know exactly how he feels. But he has much more of a silver spoon than I ever did. Bragging about how he gets to ride in Citations all day would piss anyone off! I had no pilots in my family. I had to go out there and be as mature as I could to try to make friends who could help me quench my thirst for avation.

Rubbing it in people's faces as Citationkid, possibly unknowingly, does in downright rude. I know the kid may be only 14, but I had to act a whole helluva lot more mature than 14 to get any respect to even get to wash an airplane at that age.

And Citationkid, if you do read this, don't take your connections for granted. Any enemies you make in this buisness will haunt you for the REST of your career. Pilots are a bunch of assholes (me included) sometimes you need to suck it up and take it like a a man. Laugh it off, I get crap all the time because of my age. I don't get all pissy and run away.

Again, you may only be 14, but you seriously need to grow a pair.

I havn't tried to make any enimies. If you look at half my post I get flamed on you'll see how I always appoligized. And when have I run away? After 4 months of being flamed I'm still here. I really don't see the point of staying here tho. In that one thread out of 20 replies I got one that actually answered my question. I really can't see how my name is any different then people calling them selves RJdriver or even nameing them selfs some thing they aren't. At least I didn't name myself somthing like Gulfstreamcapt. I don't see how calling myself kid would offend any body.

If you wanna see what I'm talking about give it one night and they'll be about 15 post flaming my ass.

Both my parents are pro pilots and I even live on a residential airport. My mom is a corporate pilot and flies a Citation and a Navajo. Here's where it gets good, they let me ride along. He want's a back up airplane. I was just wondering what you guys here thought, I doubt he'll ever buy another airplane, he talked about trading the King Air up for 10 years and just finally got the Citation. So what do you guys think's a good airplane? Has to be all weather (in the NE) and have atleast 6 seats. I'll suggest it too him next time I see him (I sure hope you're not the only one making "suggestions") or have my mom suggest it too him,( but mommy has to tell him its YOUR suggestion right?) but I don't fly much with them in the winter time with school and sports in the way so I probally won't see him 'till the summer time.
