Passenger travel was down over 50% on 9-11-02. Amercia will wave a flag, shed a tear on TV, then go hide. That makes me sick.

I was there. Proudly Flew a paid flight to Ohio Also tried to go flying in the am Unfortunate weather had me socked in Flew with pride yesterday

....also there.

I did a Fire Patrol for the Maine State Forest Service.....Monitored PWM approach the whole time......no GA aircraft at all, just a Delta and Northwest Flight. Granted, Portland is slow during that time of day, but it was beautiful, should have been more people up just to show everyone that aviation can't be stopped. Too bad.....

Well,

jetBlue didn't cut any flights. With the LGB-OAK shuttle just starting 9 flights a day, we couldn't afford to fly 9 flights a day except 9/11. Bad for word of mouth business. But our loads were definitely off anyway.

Well, I don't know where most of them were, but only 15,000 or so showed up with me and the wife at Wrigley Field in Chicago to watch the Cubs wail on the Expos.

Had a moving ceremony before the game and during the stretch (much better than the usual amateur singer mangling 'Take Me Out To The Ballgame'). Beat sitting at home watching the repetitive coverage of 9/11 events.

Van Nuys was busy as ever.....I could not believe how long we had to wait to get up in the air because of the many airplanes.

They were all with me, on the freeway, when I was trying to drive to school that morning.

*grumbles* I wish I had been up in the air, that's for d@mn sure...
