Where to fly from in Philadelphia area

I am planning to move from the UK to the Philadelphia area early next year - does anyone have any recommendations or thoughts on the best/most friendly airfields and flying clubs in the Philadelphia area? I have a UK PPL and a FAA Private certificate (restricted) and would be looking to rent something like a Warrior/Archer, Arrow, or C172.

Hi-

I too just got to the PHL area about 3 months ago. Aviation is not very strong here....as compared to other cities of the same size. The GA airports in town are either PNE or VAY. Just go to www.airnav.com and that will show the different companies there. Good luck.
