Anyone know where to send a Telex Airman 750 headset to get the cords fixed??? C-Panels in the Hawker have finally broken the Headset cord.

fixing telex

I sent my head set to Telex direct. They charged a flat rate of $200.00 and mine is a ANR one of the first ones. They did a great job and in addition they updated the electronics and it worked even better.

Since the 750 is much less expensive to buy you might find a avionics shop to fix it for less money.

Send them back to Telex. I had a few problems with the Airman 500 that I have and they simply replaced the unit with a brand new one free of charge, no questions asked. I was somewhat impressed with the customer service considering the unit was over one year old.

They will even send you a loaner first, then you can send yours back. They replaced the cords for a fee, but upgraded my mic free of charge. If your mic has the little white screens on both sides, they'll upgrade it to a model that doesn't clog. Then if you're really smart, you won't leave it in an airplane like I did and have it vanish.
