I have heard a couple funny stories about the people interviewing at XJ, not sure if they are true.

here is one

I guess when asked why the person interviewed wanted to be a airline pilot, the guy responded, "I think it would be a good place to pick up chics"

The other one was even more funny. When asked about the electrical system of the last plane they flew, they guy responded...."it had six cylinders" when the guy who was interviewing him said, no what supplies your planes avionics, the guy responded....."a electrical pump!"

not sure how correct this info is.....but it made me laugh

Next question......How many engines are on a 172?

Answer.....I don't know, but I learned in an airplane with a glass cockpit!

I do the sim evals for Mesaba and I had to really stop myself from saying anything after an applicant told me he really doesn't like flying with women.

For some reason he was not hired.....

"Why do you want to work for Mesaba?"

"I always wanted to live in Florida!"

"We don't have a domicile there."

"I'll commute"

I heard from an interviewer that one guy was busted for faking his logbook. He had significant amounts of IFR time logged on 9/11, 9/12, 9/13, and 9/14 of 2001.

Shouldn't you be working?
