I am just kidding if you are, however you tend to carry a heavy tone in some of the 1500 posts I have run across.

I was merely pointing out a little-known hosing ritual commonly used among us Radio Shack Managers back in the day; when the fax machines used very specific types of thermal paper too expensive to stock in great quantities.

Yes, I once managed a Radio Shack Store. Len Roberts ROCKS!!! NOT!
I also drove a Tow-truck for many years and at one point may have been a crack dealer. I had the flying bug bad!

Hehhehehe...

I was just giving you crap... Yeah, 1,500 posts, I have too much time on my hands... however in my defense, I often times am seen toting a laptop computer with, so many of those 1,500 posts have taken place while "working"... i.e. on the road in a hotel...

I have heard of the "Continuous fax" idea before... Not that I've ever done it...

It's possible to get in trouble for spaming a fax.

My brother's business is possibly getting sued for sending out an advertising flyer via fax numbers of businesses. Whether or not that would apply to faxing this job fax number or not, I don't know.

$ 1,000 a month,, tisk tisk. These Vision Air C--ks--ke-s should be picketed. Right !!, gain real world experience and bend right over and grab your ankles. My newspaper boy makes this on his paper route after school and on Sundays. And the guy or gal bagging groceries at Food 4 Less makes this wage.

I don't think that it will be in the near future. Too many of us are unemployed with families to feed and bills to pay.

One of the greatest injustices to our industry are companies like American Support Group in the Netherlands that SELLS right seat revenue jobs to foreign pilots. Many a Learjet right seat job has been deniged to an American pilot working his way up because some Swede or South Afrique paid $25000 to an operator so he can WORK in the US for a small stipend on a student visa under the guise of flight training. And then they never leave, work for low wages and so on... Likewise, we are prohibited from revenue jobs in their home country (not born in their country, no commercial job). I had a seat in an air ambulance once but then the company "downsided." While I was out the door with a $36k job, before the door was shut a Swiss guy walks in for $18K. Jeez! This is worse than PFT.

But How Do You Stop These Scam Operators?

There are more and more of these operators coming out of the woodwork everyday. In the past 6 months, I have personally "found" out about THREE scam operations currently being conducted in the U.S.
One was a so-called sister company of a type rating training organisation, another was advertising on Alaska's Employment Services Job site & it turns out the two guys running it are fraudsters & serving time in jail as I write this, & then that NLV company offering "real world" opportunities for jet FOs. The catch? YOU pay for your initial/recurrent, then THEY pay you $1000/month plus expenses & just for good measure, they can fire you whenever they please (for that, read after you have paid for your type). So, in short, what should be a normal business expense in training employees becomes your obligation and then when you get quald, they have the right to fire you if they decide they don't like the look of your face. Sounds like a really great company! Must be a real joy to actually work for them.
Has anyone thought about starting up a "undesired" companies to work for list that could be published on an aviation website?
We have "America's Best 100 companies to work for" and the Fortune 500 etc. Why not start one that deals with the weasels in this industry and how they try to gouge honest folk? I'm sure it would prevent many an agonizing decision and/or heartbreak. Knowledge is power & I'm real glad I found out about certain companies and did not proceed with my applicantion any further.
