I was looking at my log book and noticed I havn't flown a single in over 3 months:eek: I was wondering when the last time the rest of you corporate pilots flying multi engine aircraft flew a single was.

She said she was seperated, so I'm not sure if that really counts as single or not:confused:

As far as airplanes, well lets just say it was early to mid nineties and leave it at that:p

Own a C-172

Fly it every week, Fly SEL at night all the time and used to fly overwater in SEL piston to go out and land on the boat. Of course we have pilot working for us, he had a C-208 puke an engine over Lake Erie at night/IFR and he went into the drink, got rescued by the USCG helo after two hours in the water in Oct. He does not like flying SEL anywhere anymore.

my last (hopefully) check run, at night, IFR, in the 210. It was also my last piston engine flight...

Ahh, a 210 driver (former I should say). A good workhorse of an airplane. I fly one with a turbo and I really love it! I get to go all over the Northeast into real busy places like LGA, for example. It's fun trying to keep up with the big boys. I like flyin' singles, but I can't wait for my first flight in a multi-engine turbine powered airplane!

The last time I flew a single it was at night and IFR. I just asked my wife and it was 1998. It is the only time that she has ever flow with me. Of course at the time I was still trying to impress her with my flying skills. We were only dating at the time!!!!! Still not sure why she married me especially after that!

After 2000 hours of freight dawgin' in 210s, you definately learn to love (and hate) the MFer.

A good, solid, fast, airplane.

Single engine

Last October when the captain shut down the right engine in a CE550 to have me do a single engine approach to land at Santiago, D.R. Pretty stupid thing for him to do but not problems. I'm still walking.
