Just curious when their first class was relative to Delta's Febuary class. Thanks.

DL already had around 300 pilots on property by the time they started classes.

Even a post-9/11 hire 1:1 ratio would be disadvantageous to the NWA new hires. Most likely some kind of dynamic list will have to be awarded since the NWA pilots would have experienced far greater advancement based on attrition than the DAL new hires.

To do otherwise would be totally against the DAL merger philosophy.

Huh? Our Dalpa proposal had your bottom 400 at THE BOTTOM. We don't follow the DAL merger philosphy anyway, rather the ALPA merger policy. You might argue that it would reward the bottom DL pilots with a "windfall", when in fact we have a memo stating stand alone you would have furloughed up to 300. Some retirements would mitigate that, but stand alone you probably wouldn't have had those "mass" retirements anyway. And, you actually had too many pilots (as we pointed out on the stand) since you already had pilots awaiting the 787s, which won't be here for a long time anyway. Our newhires had a chance at advancement stand alone, since we have orders that are still coming in (777s and 737-700s). Your stand alone plan again had furloughs coming, and planes that would have been delayed. No dynamic list for that.....

Bye Bye--General Lee
