I was just wondering what your favorite FBO is. My favorite is signature at BWI. Got stuck there one night and they had 6 ice cream flavors and starbucks coffie for free. Then there is Albany, don't remember the name but we just droped off a guy in our King Air 200 and its was $180. It wasn't even that nice! A lot cheaper then JFK though. Don't remember the price but it wasn't worth it. There was no point buying fuel to cancle out the price because the minumum was like 500 gallons! I also like the Mercury at PDK they had those fresh cookies both times I was there.:)

And some people wonder why Signature jet fuel is $3.00+ per gallon or their genius scheme of requiring you to buy $700 worth of fuel to waive a bogus $250 handling fee! But, this has been hotly debated here before.

Monterey Jet Center is nice. Great prices and friendly to all. Also, Newport Jet Center at SNA and Southernaire at TUP, both great places.

I always kinda liked the Aero Toy Store in FXE. No cookies, but the girls were always very nice, and there were lots of very nice cars in the hangers to drool over.

TAC Air is a great FBO that I don't hear much about

I agree... just wish they had more around the country. Very friendly in both GMU and BDL - plus I got free golf balls and a pocket knife for my gas purchase.

Shouldn't that be the other way around?

KENTUCKY: Home of beautiful horses and fast women.

MillionAir at TEB. counter folks are nice, line crews are especially helpful. Building sucks, but the folks make up for it.

FBO

Million Air TEB is tops for getting the job done, altho in a crappy little building.

Wilson Air Center in MEM had lots of space and lots of amenities.

Jet Aviation PBI had a rockin' flat screen with Bose speakers.

And then there's Flower Aviation at KSLN and KCSM, it's not just dirt cheap fuel that keeps 'em coming back.

ERA in PANC

free sightseeing flights (space availiable)

Did that guy say he LIKED Signature BWI? dammm, that place is a fruckin' nightmare. Poor ramp service, the inability to walk to your own g'dam airplane, those stupid F'n tickets to get out....keep it....and the ice cream...and the 250$ "ramp fee"...hey, if we pay 250 bucks, I wanna be able to walk on the ramp.

for a small airport Schamburg (06C) has a nice one...and good restaurant! i just flew up there today, always take people for rides up there

Skyboss,
yeah i worked at JIMSAIR a few years back and there were still lot's of complaints about the service there. I would like to think that it got a little bit better while I was there, but that would probably be a little too much credit. They were kinda ramping up when I left, to make things better, but i am not sure how it worked out. sure was a fun job, though...

A guess I just went on a good night, seemed fine to me and I didn't pay for the ramp fee so it didn't matter to me. Getting out wasn't that bad all the pilot did was give 'em ID and we were escorted out but they carried our bags so it wasn't to bad.

Grand Isle, Nebraska. 6 steaks and a bottle of wine for the crew, fresh popcorn, and a fuel truck with 2 hoses for those of us without single point.
