Judging from your avatar and screen name, add yourself to the projecting happening on this thread. I'm just sick of seeing obese airline pilots everywhere, who project their own insecurities onto the FAs and others...oblivious to their own repulsiveness. Didn't UAL have some program where guys had a certain timeframe to get to a healthy weight? Whatever happened to that?

you are sick of seeing obese airline pilots, or are you sick of seeing your fat a$$ self in the mirror every f'ing day.??. I guess if I was fat like you I would be sick of it too.. Sorry dude.

Voice, I was a Flight Attendant for 11 years. I have been a professional pilot now for 11 years as well. Not in all cases, but in most, F/A's of a certain seniority stop careing about anything except being at home on time off. Hence the increasingly bad service that I experience on a weekly basis as I airline to and from my fractional airplane. F/A's refer to "golden handcuffs". They are senior enough to get the days off that most people envy, but they really don't like the job any more. They wish they could quit, but they don't want to give up the perqs. I took the time and put in the effort to break free, so I know it can be done. I say, move them out after a max of 10 years. Fresh faces, fresh attitudes.

Valid point... however, EEOC and unions keep those bad attitudes around....

The real trick is real leadership from the company.

How do you expect an FA to have a great attitude with Steenland ruining the airline?

Ergo.. SWA... Herb and company keep it real over there...

Thus, Steenland and other legacy CEO's know what is going in... they just don't care....

And like Fred Durst said "Cuz if you don't care, then we don't care"
