That picture kind of makes me sad. It looks really great to use, but I wont get the chance. Trans States is buying a bunch of ERJs from Swiss Air with that same system- maybe that very airplane from the pic, and they are removing the HUD and the second Honeywell FMS before they put them on line for us.
 
Ya Horizon has Head's Up on all out dash 8 200, Dash 400's and CRJ 700's. I'm not sure that we are cirtified to use the 700's yet, but if not, it will be soon.
With them, we hand fly to a DH of 50 feet and a Vis of 600 RVR. Takeoff is like 300 RVR. You would be supprised how much it gets you in when everybody else is holding in the seattle fog.
