Anyone in the know hearing chatter about the volcanic ash causing any kind of layoffs on the international carriers? I heard the foreign carriers are already talking about it.

Isn't it great to do things just like the Europeans? Lets shut down all the air space because the skies are clear!

European airlines are great. Socialism, oppressive taxes, aircraft designed to override the pilot, only giving the criminals guns, and everyone walking because no one can afford a car is cool!

Europe sucks. How has the walking been going the last four days Piere, Gunther, and Loyd?

It's a legitimate question. The last time that thing erupted it did so for 2 years. I'm sure it would enter into the route structures at some point, but when?

I'm off to Europe mid week. Hope it is not a goat rope. Checked with the company and our route from IAH to CDG is one of the approved routes so it is looking like a go.

Your really need to deGlenn Beckerize yourself before your head implodes completely.

Everyone is walking because no one can afford a car??? LOL

Ever heard of Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls Royce......they sell those brands over there first......The US meanwhile hasn't built a car worth owning for 30 years. Furthermore, the Europeans are so backward and mislead that they are forced to ride modern 200 mph trains while the US's superior capitalists have offered us Amtrak so far.

The ignorance in this post is just staggering, really hoping that you are not part of an international crew because your brand of unreasoned jingoism is what makes having a US Passport overseas such a pleasure these days.
