CHICAGO, March 2 (Reuters) - Pilots at Delta Air Lines (DALRQ.PK: Quote, Profile , Research) unit Comair have ratified a labor contract that imposes wage cuts and other measures, the pilots' union said on Friday.
More than 68 percent of the pilots voted in favor of the agreement, which includes an average pay cut of 11 percent and saves the airline $15.8 million annually, the Air Line Pilots Association said in a statement.
The deal also grants the pilots a $82.5 million claim in Delta's bankruptcy.
Comair and ALPA reached the deal last month. Comair is trying to cut costs and emerge from bankruptcy with Delta.

i heard the pay cut is some where around 7-12%, what's the actual number?

I depends on what seat you were in and if you were on the CRJ or CR7. I am a 2nd year FO on the CRJ and it works out to be about 7.5%. Going from 37.18 an hour to 34.42. Pretty sad, everyone flying at a regional should be making more that what we are. This race to the bottom is never going to end.

No It won't end as long as pilots keep voting to accept paycuts.

How about that they voted for a pay raise? Looks like the CMR pilots will be splitting up about 60 million from a 80 million $ claim.

My guess is that everyone is going to net a pay raise in the end. So all of you slamming on CMR should think again..

LOL, right. You think they're gonna ever get that?

It'll be taken away, too. And the judges will allow it.

You think you will see a dime of that? HA!

Comair rebels claimed that the race to the bottom was not going to be because of them! Just as I suspected, they bent over just like everyone else! Maybe they will stop beating their chests and prentending to be the tough pilot group they claimed to be! I am sorry to see their pay go lower however!

We had the calim sale at Delta also! I am going to receive around $160,000 from that sale! Using your logic, did I get a pay raise after our paycuts?

Are those percentages taken from the loa payrates or the original contract
numbers? What are the numbers for an 8 year captain?

Okay, I agree with that statement. See, we can get along!

If you ended up with more ducats after the dust settled, then yeah.
