Was thinking about taking a roadtrip and needed a gps receiver to plug into my laptop, either through the serial port or usb, doesn't matter to me. But anyhow, I have Microsoft Mappoint and this cool little app that gives you voice prompts, and auto-re-rerouting, plus 1 second updates when you go off track. I just need to get a cheap receiver to plug into my laptop... any suggestions..

I was thinking the Garmin Etrex Legend (the blue colored one) because it seems to be the most feature rich I can find and there is a $30 rebate on it right now. I can get it for like $160 before the rebate..

what are your thoughts..

DeLorme Mapquest. Sits on the dash, chugs along.
Mapquest is also, IMHO, better than the MS map product.
