Bring 'em on!! I wouldn't mind trading in my ERJ to take the controls of a Q400. Jets aren't nearly as much fun as I thought they'd be.....

How could you ever speak an unkind word about the jungle jet?!?!?!

Have you actually flown it yet? If nt you will understand. If so then I will take it that your comment was meant to be sarcstic.

Well I just finished IOE so ive got about 30 hours in it but so far I cant complain! It's better than the 421!

Hell yeah, nothing like a 7+ legs a day on the mighty SAAB. Puts some hair on your chest, makes you into a real man

I know the ATR is a nice plane and I heard the q400 is good too....I hope they come back as they were fun to fly....I never flew the ERJ but I always hated riding in them

No autopilot thats odd?

Go to talk anyone that's flown the 1900D at Lakes since about mid 2002. Hand-flying is the name of the game.

Was there any reason for this?

Yup; why pay for an autopilot? That's what the $12,000/yr FO is for...

Seriously, back when 19 seat "commuters" were popular, they just didn't have autopilots. Beech 99s and 1900s, Metroliners, Jetstream 31s... all hand flown, all day long. Brings back memories of hand flying 8-10 legs a day in a 1900C thru PHX during the summer, racing Skywest Metros from Yuma or Flagstaff back to PHX. A C model had a hard time keeping up with a Metro III. Good times...

I miss the good ole prop days!! Though on a rare occasion I do get to fly a King Air 200 for a few hrs.
