Wonder how long it took them to regret that decision. My guess is that it happened about 3 steps inside the front door.

Assuming they even have a door........

Or a building to put it on.........

Their HQ is probably just a gussied up tent like some of their Florida stations have for terminals.

No, the circus tent is being used for the terminal in St. Augustine.

Yep. I feel so bad for the people at the FBO in St. Augustine! I was there for a few hours, and person after person kept coming in, asking if this was the Skybus terminal? "No sir, it's the tent nextdoor." They even have put signs on the FBO door saying, "This is not Skybus!" with arrows pointing the way. It doesn't help.

And people call the FBO, all day long, with questions about their flights on Skybus. Why? Because the cheap-ass company doesn't have a damn telephone number, so when people call information, the operator helpfully gives them the FBO's number, because it's at the airport. :uzi:

When the heck did an employer become responsible for feeding their employees (water)?

Cheap because SX doesnt provide a phone #? It keeps the cost down, stupid!

I interviewed at Skybus a couple weeks ago. I got a call a few days ago letting me know that they are reevaluationg thier fleet plans and will be putting me into a pool until they have a better handle on thier future plans.
From the interview presentation they indicated that they are selling some of their delivery positions to slow growth.
I get the feeling that Skybus is not the only company that you are going to be hearing this from.

I get the feeling Skybus is a company you won't be hearing anything from.

Why would you want to work there? The pay? The work rules? The business plan? The water?

This is a judgement issue. Why would you even consider working for Skybus? It has to be the worst operator in the industry (worse than Gooojets).

I hope your situation is not sooooooo bad that you would even have to consider Skybus at this point. Go check out Netjets and some of the other fractionals first. Jet Blue is also hiring (with a lot of former Flyi pilots).
