Thanks for the info. I commute out of DFW and our passes are about to take a dump! Itching to bail out QUICK!!

Got bout 8000 TT, 2500 PIC (800 Turb 121 PIC), 2000 hrs jet.

Guess I'll send it in and see what (if anything).

Thanks again.

I think you should check on that. competitive says "YES", minimums say "Highly Recommended"

I bet there's a pretty large pile of competitive pilots WITH a degree.

No, it's not required... I know...But it sure helps..

Excuse me, let me re-iterate. A degree is not required to fill out the app...a degree is 99.9 % required to get the job (at any major that is - not just CAL). And that's exactly the way it should be.

.... And that's exactly the way it should be.

I agree 100%, but I'm standing by for the sh!tstorm of wanking from the "my daddy couldn't afford to pay my way... blah blah blah" crowd.

Whatever... A degree shows that you can complete something meaningful, and it shows that you at least spent some time with people who are intelligent and educated. Through study or osmosis, maybe something rubbed off.
