What's a guy to do?

I have one of those life decisions to make and I need some advice. I’ve been dating a woman from England for about a year and now its time for one of us to move. I am wondering if it would be wise to fork out some more money and change my ratings to UK JAA ratings? Would having FAA and JAA ratings make me more marketable and would it be possible to obtain a pilot job over there? I have a good job here flight instructing, but I want to move on to the airlines like most people. I know both markets are saturated, but we all know how relationships are. It's all about who makes more. What’s a guy to do?

Before you make a descision, look into the requirements of the JAA ratings first. I went a flight school in FL that offered JAA ratings to UK students. One of the required courses is the ATPL. It's basically like our ATP but the difference is you have to complete the course to fly for an airline over there and it can only be taken in the UK and maybe a few other countries. It is a 6 month course with classes 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. It covers 6 or 8 subject matters. Aerodynamics, Meteorology...ect. I believe all of the study books are from Trevor Tom. He's the aviation guru of the UK. I've heared it's very difficult and time consuming. But good luck if you decide to go with it.
