I'm making a parrallel move from a couple of screaming garrets to a quiet (so I'm told) CRJ. Maybe one of you CRJ drivers could verify that! Anyway will be looking for a lightweight headset yet have NO CLUE in this area! Any suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Telex 750's are light, comfortable, well made and inexpensive. They have good product support as well. I bought a well used pair for $75 and had to send them in to get a speaker replaced. They had it back in a week for $50 and I've used these for three years now.

A more expensive option is the new Sennheiser's. ALPA did a study on headsets. Here is some additional information:

The only problem with the CRJ is that if you use headsets with different mike resistance the volumes are hard to get set right. The Comm panel likes the same headsets being used on the left and right sides.
