Just got my FAA ticket back this week expecting to see the B-737 next to my BE-40, and B-707. After looking twice, looks like the FAA upgraded me to a B-777.

Why can't the lottery make a mistake like this and give me the winning numbers?

Yahtz

P.S. If anyone would like to hire someone with a 777 type, I'm available and much cheaper than a AA, DAL or UAL pilot. ;)

Heck....send it back and tell them they forgot to put the 737 type on it. Maybe you will get a new one back with both ratings!

"What's a 777 type worth?"

With that 777 Type and a quarter, you can get yourself a cup of coffee. Enjoy.

Coffee is only a quarter at your local military pilot's "Squadron Lounge". All hail the "Snack-O".

Yahtz,

You better keep the quarter and use it towards the 37 cent stamp you have to buy in order to take care of their mistake.
:p

A little credit please...

Aplus,

Can you spare a stamp? I think I'll need two cups of joe at 0500 tomorrow am before enduring two students on ride five in a BE-40 trying to kill me. I'll drink one for you while your sleeping soundly...hopefully not on the couch again. ;)

KC-10 Drive,

I hope you didn't actually believe I would try to use a 777 type or include it in a resume. Give me a little more credit than that.

In a galaxy far, far away the interviewer notes "Yahtz, I see you have a 777 type rating. Can you shed some like on your 777 training?."

And the Yahtz replies, "Huh, I really didn't receive any training for the 777. You see there was an FAA 777 Type Rating application in my Cracker Jack box, so I sent off for it, and the rest is history."

In other words, I was joking. This message board is kinda gloomy sometimes. I was just tryign to lighten the mood. Hope some of ya'll got a laugh.

B747dogg...luved your reply, but noticed you spelled "Dogg" incorrectly...That's DAWG!

Yahtz

P.S. Can you get a pack of Ramen Noodles for a quarter?

As a matter of fact, you can get a pack of Ramen for less than a quarter. Most stores sell them 6 for a dollar.. On sale, you might be able to get 7 for a dollar.

Laughing out loud

I've got stud's on their 6th and 7th tweet rides tomorrow. Ever seen puke come out the side of an O2 mask?

In the trenches with you....

I've seen it come out of my own mask, on every single one of my first six tweet rides. It wasn't pretty for me -- I can't imagine how my IP's kept their own down after witnessing my puke handgrenade.

Yahtz--

I figured you'd do the right thing, but it is too bad you can't keep it...

Yak Grenades...

KC-10 Driver,

I plan to make a copy of both sides just to show my friends.

P3jacobs,

You guys should be getting Haz Duty Pay for the work you do!

Be good out there...and just be glad your studs haven't dropped their mask after hurling, then aimed the yak grenade it at you before gang loading the regulators to spray you.

Would that buy a stud a double taco? One for puking and the other for CRM?

Hope the yakmasters aren't getting any ideas. ;)

Babs,
I am torn between surf and golf....I think both...then brownie patrol at dusk...I don't think I'd trade with you at this juncture.
not missing the Tweet...yet...
Aloha, P

You guys shop at the wrong stores, you can get 10 bags of ramen for a dollar if you do your homework....
