You have to pay to do this and the regional jet standards certification : http://www.atpflightschool.com/airline_training_programs/direct_track/index.html
to get this:
http://www.atpflightschool.com/airline_training_programs/direct_track/expressjet_alliance.html

So, is it PFT, PFJ or an ab-initio program, I don't think it matters either way, these guys are getting hired and getting more seniority than me sitting dual in an Arrow aren't they? So it looks like 33,000 for all the ratings and a guaranteed nterview.

$33,000 for Direct Trac only.
$78,000 for all your ratings and direct Trac!!!

Buddy, please read carefully before you sign the contract.

You don't want to end up like the 80 students from Airline Training Academy that lost their life savings to a criminal ATA Captain and his lowlife father (a retired Delta Captain). The same guys who started Comair Aviation Academy.

ATP's been around a long time and are reputable, but Mesa offers a better program for a lot less.

I have no fight in the PFD issue, it's a waste of my time.
Dems da facts flamers, back off!

I went the long track just like you flying an arrow. It did'nt save me time, but it saved my life, and my pax on many occassions when flying with PFDs'! You are'nt missing out on anything and the flying public deserves an experienced pilot.

Get your ratings, build time (it does seem like forever, but trust me it's not), get a
degree in something you can fall back on, apply to every regional out there even if you don't meet the mins and DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON PLACES LIKE THAT!

DDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGG: 78,000 dollazz just to avoid flight instructing?, jeeeeezzzzzzzzzuus! The 33g one would've been a pretty decent deal, but not for the cost of Porsche! Nah, I wasn't gonna do it, I'm too close to having the multi time to get into a slick MU-2 gig or just get a UPT slot w/ my unit, just wanted to know what ya'll thought.

BTW, what are "PFD"s? (primary fight displays?)

If you read the ExpressJet agreement closely it doesn't promise a job, only an interview and you still have to pass. I would think other candidates would be better qualifed with real world experience.

The same guys who started Comair Aviation Academy.

Please keep it straight. They did not start the Comair Academy. They started a flight school of their own. Comair bought it and replaced them. Comair then started the Comair Academy itself. "They" had nothing to do with the Academy operation.

I stand corrected, Comair bought the Academy. However, 'They' were not replaced, 'they' were just given different titles and continued to scar the fabric of aviation learning.
