(todays exercise in wasting time AND promoting constructive thought.)

so to keep on this rhetorric of jesus postings ive noticed on occasion, i thought id bring forth my brand of religion and ask the question of not IF jesus was alive, what would he fly....but...what DOES he fly? (and this covers the both alive and dead and somewhere in between question everyone thinks about....that resolved, on with the question)

Honestly, Jesus would be able to fly anything he wants to, AND fly it anywhere he wants to. So, given that fact, what plane would he fly...AND...where would he fly it to or from?

would Jesus be a Radial engined kind of guy? or would Jesus be a PT-6 or garret king air kind of guy? or would he be a citation-X or Lear 60 guy? i know he could probably fly just in his robes but c'mon. even if i could fly without machines, i'd still try to go fly a PBY catalina. how could he not resist?....oh wait. he resists temptation......well so much for my argument then. crap, anyway, lets say that he WANTS to fly SOMETHING ok?

hes a lover of all things so he would most likely show up flying something with either every known engine in the world on it....or just something different each time he was seen....now this would bring about strange shifts in demographic, i mean....really you'd find king air worshipers in one part of the country, and then some warbird warshipers or Boeing warshipers in another part...all depending on what he was in when he made that appearance....hmmm. intersting. the church of Boeing. or the church of Embraer, or church of Mustangs, etc.

lotsa thought would be brought from this.

so, WWJF-what would jesus fly?

I think it'd be cool if he resurrected some cool old airplane back to its original beauty and tooled around the country in that. The spruce goose maybe.

I think he would be in the Guard without a medical.

I think the Master would fly a Maule.

bwahaha

I think he would fly a PBY, because he would not need a raft to get to shore.

He could just shut it down anywhere and just walk to shore.. :D

Gunfyter:

I beg to differ with you.

From the Book of James, chapter 2:

14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Is that your final answer?

I hope you're certain of your historical dates and facts because soon this thread will be descended upon by Biblical scholars to correct any error.

May God save your soul.

My guess would be a Pietenpol.

Because He is just like us a common man. (That's what they've tried to beat into me at least)

"Bernard Pietenpol never lost sight of the cost of flying and showed his true genius in keeping it down - within reach of the common man"
