So, I used to fly for TSA and I saw all the stickers. Nobody could ever tell me what it was about. Then the other day, a buddy of mine says "dude, you flew for TSA, what was Frank right about?" I have no idea. So... What was Frank right about?

I heard that it was (to a New-Hire class)

"You have just made the biggest mistake of your lives"

When was he there? He sounds like someone who interviewed my back in '99. (or maybe it was '00 or '01)

Frank was a "one of kind." He was the indoc instructor when I got hired at TransStates.

On day 1 of class, there was 29 young, scared to death kids sitting in class all wearing a coat and tie. This old man who looked like he was 75, with a hearing aid in each ear slowly shuffled into the class and stopped in the middle of the room. He very slowly and deliberately looked around the room at each one of us. When he was done... he spoke. He said "So ya'll wanna work for an airline do ya?" Long pause for dramatic effect. "Well, ya came to the wrong F'n place. This ain't no F'n airline... its a G'dmnd charter outfit... and bad one at that!"

Thats how I met Frank. I will remember Frank when I'm 90 and sitting in a Nursing home. Frank was indeed right... about alot of stuff.

Seconded. That old bastard damn near scared the hell out of me!

I shoulda listened.

Thirded.

Wait, I wasn't there... but he sounds right!

How ya doin, Lowly? Just might be heading back to NYC if my bid comes true. Save a lolita at Trade Fair for me.

Hi!

Hahahahaha!

I was at TSA, but I was furloughed before the shiny newness wore off (and before I got my 180 days so I could apply to AWAC and Comair).

Frank

I did some contract work on the J32 for TSA in 1994 and Frank was my INDOC Instructor.

He was a true character. Is he still alive?
