I noticed a job ad today for Polar Air, again. Hummm.

I'm wondering if this ad is real. Especially considering their web site had nothing for pilots. Anyone one have any info?

Two thumbs down: Don't believe it.

Of course it couldn't hurt to send them a resume anyway but here's my info:

A friend of mine is an FO at Polar and just completed recurrent training. My resume was handed to the fleet manager with a letter of recommendation and it was accepted but there was a big shrug of the shoulders.

The manager told my friend that due to the impending Atlas bankruptcy that he didn't see any hiring until next year at the earliest--if at all.

Apparently Polar is operating a couple Atlas airplanes and they may loose those when it's time to pay the piper.

I.e. possible furlough (???)

Good luck in your job search.
