Hello, I'd need a new garment bag and thought all you aviators out there could give me your thoughts on what is the garment bag to own--one that will last.
I think most people I know in the airlines use either "Purdy Neat Things" http://www.purdyneatstuff.com or "Travelpro" http://www.travelpro.com/ . I have both types of luggage and I'm partial to Purdy Neat Things although I think Travlepro stuff looks better.
The Luggage Works now handles PNT..
1-800-722-1793..
I have both a PNT roller bag and flight case..Both are built like a tank.
Their repair and warranty policy is great but you never need it..
Most of the majors use PNT bags as standard issue..
I have a Travelpro that I have gone around the world about 10 times with. I have had it over hauled about 10 times. The last time I was at Travelpro in Boca I bought a used backup case for $25.00, not a bad way to go.
I have the PNT bag for my weekly commuting. and I swear by it - the outside pockerts are great for commuting novels, magazines, and when I have to get nearly undressed for clearing thru security.
