Yeah, the ground effect craft that the Russians were building 20-30 years ago were gigantic. The largest tipped the scales at 800k lbs. They just showed a video clip of this turd on the news and it definitely stays in ground effect the whole time. How impressive. A single seat Wing in Ground Effect vehicle that will reign supreme the world around. They've reached the technological advancement of an undergraduate engineering team. I think they'd be better off keeping these accomplishments to themselves. There have been parallels drawn between these nuts and the budding Nazi Germany. I don't see it. Germany had the potential for real military might early on, and became a grave threat to it's neighbors long before anyone was prepared to do anything about it. These twats are testing children's toys and goofy torpedoes to flex their muscle. All while being surrounded by U.S. military forces. It will be entertaining, at least.
I heard the story the other day, but hadn't seen the photo yet.....THAT made me laugh!
They are probably just calling it stealth because their radar can't pick the thing up.....as a Navy Aegis guy, I'd be highly suprised if we couldn't pick that engine up. The only thing that would make it difficult is heavy sea clutter, but then I'd like to see that 'Revolutionary' try to float in ground effect in 10-20 foot seas!
Well, it would give the Phalanx guys something to do...
Oh, yeah, did anyone see the mighty IIAF fighters flying overhead? It's nice to see someone still flying F-4D's. Wonder where they are getting the parts? Must be sneaking over the AZ border to raid the back lot of the boneyard. TC
10 bucks says that they built that awesome machine of war out of plans they picked up at Oshkosh back in 1987......... If I'm not mistaken wasn't it the Iranians who built copies of the Lancair to train their "Air Force" pilots in.....
"The US Navy today announced a top secret initiative to counter the new Iranian threat. We at FOX News have learned that special naval operatives, called "gunner's mates" will be stationed aboard US Navy vessels, equipped with advanced "Browning M-2 .50 caliber" machine guns. These "gunner's mates" when equipped with high tech optical target acquisition equipment (known as "binoculars") were able to engage and destroy the new Iranian "Al-Saddam" (in English, Noisy Sh*tbag) flying motorboat 12 out of 10 times in recent tests."
