What is the Name of that movie

The movie where the nuclear carrier travels back in time to Dec 6, 1941, and tomcats chase Zero's??
I have been racking my brain for a day. I can see the players, but I am wrong on who they are. It isn't charlton heston and charlie sheen, because I looked at their filmography and don't recognize the movie. We have a new HDTV, and I want to get the DVD as a present to myself for Fathers Day. (kids on vacation, wife won't think of it). I read there is a re-release with director notes, etc, on this board, but I'm stumped.

"Final Countdown" Came out on DVD a few months ago.

Martin Sheen and that hot brunette babe who was in a lot of movies back in the 80s were in it. It was pretty cool actually, but every time I watch it I always hope to see the Tomcats decimate the Zeros to prevent Pearl Harbor ... alas, they never do. Bummer.
