What will happen if AA does go library? Will will Jetblue do? I see some sort of merger post BK.

I don't think so. The anti-union establishment would not stomach that. But then again never say never.... Two seperate companies. One holding company?
 
Nobody is going to merge with AMR unless there is a pre-packaged bankruptcy first to unload/restructure the debt and labor agreements, eliminate the unwanted planes/routes/facilities and equipment and probably Eagle and get pre-agreements with all the unions to avoid a AMWest/USAirways type debacle. Think AMR/TWA with AMR playing the part of TWA this time around.
 
B6-AA The number of slots required to be divested in JFK by the DOT would be very hard on the numbers.

B6-Frontier?- Who wants to be a part of the 3 way in Denver with United and SWA?
 
but wait is Jetblue not returning leases? Why take more?
