I don't care how bad things suck at Regex. It will be worse at GoJet

The pay rate posted here does suck, although it is higher than Mesa. I just don't see the IBT settling on a contract that is substandard. A friend of mine in the training dept at TSA said they are expecting the whole thing to settle out with a very good scale. Apparently all the check airmen and most of the instructors at TSA want to go.

I have been happy with the IBT, and my biggest concern is that they maintain an industry acceptable contract. The current TSA contract really isn't much better than Mesa's. Hopefully this whole thing works out for everyone involved. Good luck.

Although I no longer have a dog in this hunt, I was actively involved in ALPA at one time on a similar issue.

In my opinion (worth nothing I will add), the only way to stop this enormous mud slide going south is for ALPA and IBT to initiate a S.O.S. for ALL regional/commuter/small jet/feeder/Group A-B-C-D (I think that covers them all) pilot groups.

The seriousness of this issue is something which simply cannot be ignored; this could be a death blow to ALPA if GoJets wins. My advice (again, worth a Russian penny) would be for a couple of MEC’s to have a joint summit in DC and lay out a strategy with a dead line to pull it off. If not, the eventual decay will ultimately make the job worthless to even those dreamy eyed flight instructors. By then, ALPA will have been long gone from the Regionals.

Best of luck to the TSA guys and gals; I’ll gladly send a check of support as long as it takes if you walk on this management.

Dude, you're retarded. If you think they're (IBT) going to get anything more than Mesa, you're high. Why do you think they'll only talk to IBT? Because they won't play ball. They'll see management's proposal and say 'Looks good to us'. It's called breaking a union. If ALPA is at TSA, it should be no different for GoJet.

ALPA members- What do you think about putting together a fund ala Comair to shut Hulas down? Just walk on him. I know times are tough, but would $20 a month from Captains and $10 from FO's do it? We have to fight this, and I'm more than willing to help.
