Supposedly a picture of a guy's plane after his ex-wife took a chainsaw to it. Not sure if that's true but that pic has been around for quite awhile.

No kidding. Looks like she got pretty close to one of the fuel tanks as well...
 
The explanation is on the internet somewhere (I'm too lazy to look). I think it was the result of a hand-propping gone horribly wrong. I'm sure someone can ellaborate more.
 
I saw a plane just like that at Stella Maris, a plane side swiped it with the prop running. I would put money on that is what happend here.

Nothing a little bondo can't fix......lol
 
I forget the details, but a plane with no one in it and the engine running taxied into the Seminole. The handpropping gone bad story sounds familiar.

Correct- someone hand propped their plane, and it got away from them and diced up this Seminole. Pretty messy!
