What happened at NY approach today ?

But 100k is alot of money in places like TUL, OMA, DFW etc.....

It's all relative. 100k is not alot of money to a business executive, congressman, or my 20 year old real estate agent friend who received 168,000 dollar commission on 2 million dollar restaurant.

By your thinking, nobody should make that much money no matter what they do....

Yeah but who in their right mind would want to live in OMA or TUL. That's why its so cheap to live there.

I tell you what, take the whole NY center and rebuild the thing in OMA. While you might save 20k a controller, you won't get the best and the brightest. Plus it would cost the Gov't 100's of millions to move the whole thing out there. Living above the Big Dig I can explain to you how a government project turns into a nightmare.

100k these days is worth crap. But then commuter pilots are on a 20k to 30k payscale so anything looks better. Even the mop boy in a peep show.
