Friend of mine who flew for FLX before I got there and knew the guy personally said the wreckage was upside down when found.....there were a couple of other details that were strange/didn't seem to make sense....I need to call my friend though to see if I remember what he told me correctly

I vaguely remember hearing about this in training. Speculation (and that's all it was) seemed to center around pilot incapacitation (eg. passed out, blinded, etc). I'm not sure that the speculation was any more informed than anyone else's speculation would be, though.

This is what I had in mind too, as I read the report, but no determination by the NTSB.

Could this be some form of hyperventilation which led to him passing out?

Although if he was level at 2000 and he passed out some of those radar returns where like 6000 fpm (1600 to 1100 ft in 5 secs) from what I measured. A trimed airplane probably would'nt do that unless he slumped into the column. (nor would the aircraft be inverted) Strange this is the type of stuff that spooks me.

Very cool VID, goes well with the song, just needs a few FA's stripping on there. I bet I have flown that CA tail number 1900. Looks like that might have been in White Stains.
