What ever happened with this flight express accident?

It's not fair to gossip about someone who can't defend themself. If the company sucks, tell us! This pilot fatally suffer for something that this pilot loved and enjoyed regardless of what we think because this Dawg had a choice. That's the way many of us feel. Our jobs can be dangerous at times and some of the pay might infact be cheap, but it's home!!!! 2004 is 2004. Ease up.

I think your missing the point of my post. I have no problems with flight express. For the amount of time they fly they have had VERY FEW accidents. (fatal) The ones they have had 1 a vacuum pump and other fuel starvation have been pilot error not the companies fault. I just would like to know what happened if anybody on the inside knows?

I vaguely remember hearing about this in training. Speculation (and that's all it was) seemed to center around pilot incapacitation (eg. passed out, blinded, etc). I'm not sure that the speculation was any more informed than anyone else's speculation would be, though.

Agreed.....his first response was pretty ignorant too.....Rally wasn't trying "put any fear into you 'pups'".....FLX is a great company...I didn't spend much time there but they treated me well the entire time

I think he was a younger guy, ex-serviceman.

Seems so wierd from the report its as if he just kept descending (quickly at one point) similar headings etc. Younger guys normally just don't pass out either. Maybe he fell asleep or something.
