What do you want to see and what would you be willing to give up to see this deal come to a close? There are P2P and CNC guys that read this board, so let’s take an impartial forum to tell them what you want and are willing to give up to get it done.

Can we agree that we all want Scope and Merger Protection as priority 1?

I think most can at least agree that a raise on the CR7 is not going to happen. Would you be happy if wages stayed as they are now with your yearly bump and the company took the profit sharing off the table as a compromise?

Can we agree to the company’s proposal on the CR2 and ATR if they will add the current contract yearly bump in pay?

Can we agree that Retirement / Credit summaries are of low priority?

Feel free to add/modify/take away from this list

Take what the Company propsed but keep it on a 2 year limit for cr7 and rework it in 2 years to what the market can support.

:mad:Raises ALL AROUND!! Forget retirement and give us trip duty rig along with profit sharing. If we get no raises, that means you get NOTHING for the last four years!! That is UNACCEPTABLE!!! Grow a pair!

Cooter, you are not even worth commenting on....just another D'Whore if you ask me!!

1. Kick a--
2. Take names
3. Scope (as much good as that that will do us in the regional world)
4. No pay cut - even if I don't get a pay raise, I will not accept a 13% pay cut or a 1% pay cut for that matter. Especially FOs on either airplane should not have to take a pay cut at all. I made less than $15K last year while supporting a family. How about indexing pay raises to profitability?

I think that the SW contract with a few minor tweaks would work. For example, nobody, not even the SW pilots, wants a blended rate.

:rolleyes:Well guess what ASAdrvr, IF they want to shrink us, no matter WHAT we do, they will still do it! This is all posturing, make a good vote and they will come back a runnin!! We are the cheapest right now, so they really don't have a lot to stand on! Look at the DOT filings. WE are the CHEAPEST ALREADY!!!!

Tomct, what are you willing to give up in this negotiation to make what you want happen?

Shut up alread I'm getting so damn tired of this "RASES ALL AROUN" "BURN THIS BIATCH DOWN" " I DON"T CARE IF WE LOST 100 PLANES AND 500 JOBS DON"T BUDGE"

Its so pathetic.

That is with our current cost structure and with mainly 50 seaters. What would it be if ALPA gets its way? You can't honestly believe that will stay the same if we get what we are asking for?

What about IP/APD pay rates, does anyone agree with the Co position incutting 5 hours monthly guarantee over the cousre of 5 years?

:mad:ASAdrvr, yeah we are already "THE CHEAPEST!!" And yet we make more than anyone else out there....What does that tell you? Their minds are set, so no matter what happens, they will screw us! I am not going down without a fight!

Hell I think I'd go be a janitor just to see an idiot like you on the street. But you are just a bored dispatcher or other GO troll, so it don't be matterin no how.

No Pay Cuts! Scope and merger protection, COLA, Trip and Duty Regs., Give up retirement, and backpay( I hate to say that). Vote yes and hope the guys/gals at SKYW will too.

1. Strike vote
2. Fly the contract until then
3. Never use your cell phone to call mx away from the gate, taxi back, shutdown & run all appropriate checklists. Then walk inside and use the land line. Then ask mcc to send a mech., because it's not our job to troubleshoot, no matter how simple the problem - we don't get paid enough (Mr. Tutt) to do that job as well, the DCA doesn't allow it!
4. Always start the APU out of 10k - it's a matter of passenger comfort.
5. No APU - no fly!

Look. These are tough times to be negotiating. Why can't we just get something to get us through for the next 4 years and let Mesa and Chq go through this in the next round and see what they get.

I could live with a freeze on the 70.
Small increases on the 50 and ATR.
Absolutely NO paycuts. (Espcially for FO's)
If we take a freeze on the 70, we should get profit sharing
No new retirement plan is fine. How about a better match on the 401k!
Definitely a signing bonus of some sort or retro.

just my $.02

I think we'd all agree to the above. However, the company won't even give us that much!

Would you be willing to buy a single rate for the jet and single rate for the prop FO scales w/ 3% COLA? This would not work on the cpts side but appears to be where the industry is going. With upgrade tx averaging about 4-5 years it seems feasible.

If we were ever to have single rates on the jet, then I want to be able to bid back to the 50. If my pay is going to take a hit, then my QOL (more days off) is going to have to increase.

Fair enough...

atlcrjdriver, go to Skywest, they have the plan for you. I would except 3% raise on the 700, 6% on the 200, trip and duty rigs, hard min day(four hours period, not average.), better 401k match with pay period deposits, not once a year! Hell no to single rate for FO's, First year pay at least $25 dollars an hour, 19 is embarrising. Pilot only 401k, profit sharing since everyone else gets it! No to any cuts with the IP's, I don't want to learn from some 25 year old pund with 100 multi and balls that havn't droped.

1. Scope
2. Scope
3. Scope
4. Small raise on all aircraft, trip and duty rigs, scheduling changes, adjustments to the 401K,
retro pay. 2 weeks each year were its legal to hunt a scheduler. I
might even agree to just 1 week. Profit Sharing.

The MEC knows what will be presentable to the pilot group. They just aren't seeing anything resembling that coming across the table.

Tell the MEC what you want through normal channels. A public forum is definitely not the place to be discussing your terms for surrender or compromise. Management may think the yellow-bellies speak for the rest of the pilot group.

And to the FO's waiting for that 1000 PIC for that major job, get in line. And learn how to do a checklist while you're at it.

Has the MEC done enough to manage the pilot's expectations? Has the MEC explained what has happened to the 70 seat rates over the past 4 years? Has the MEC explained how much better our instructor section is than everyone elses because of the DW sideletter?

I want everything we are asking for and then some, however the reality of the situation is that isn't possible given the pattern that has been established over the past 5 years.

A public forum is very appropriate to question your union if that is what it takes to change it's behavior.

What happened to "Zero net gain"? Now they want us to go backwards?

Hhmmmmm, how much longer do I really want to do this?

Actually the current proposal isn't "a move backwards". There are many improvements in there. As many as people want? NO, but there are improvements.

I have a question for you. What about "all we are asking for is QOL improvements, and not money". That was the big buzz phrase before section 13 was settled. I can't tell you how many people said "it's not like we are asking for much money - we just want some improvements in scheduling". Now that 13 is done, everyone wants 70 seat rates that are way out of the industry and even higher than mainline rates.

Your absolutely right, about "half a brain" is all I see here.... continue on with your rants.... ALPA will be to the rescue shortly....

I agree with ASAFO--keep pay same on 70 as it is now, small raises for the 50 and atr...fly both aircraft which will help the company...I KNOW..I KNOW grow some balls, if you go anywhere else you will fly 200-300-500-700-800 series aircraft.
11 or 12 days off a month
and scope
401k match monthly not yearly
8% match in 401k
