I'm learning of great aviation fly-ins as I come back to the world of general aviation as an aircraft owner and prior military. I used to love to take the A-10 to airshows and always held my hand high to go so I got to go to quite a few. Fun times leading four ship fly-by's but also attending the socials. The people are what makes aviation great.

Being in Virginia I've learned of various great fly-ins some of which are listed on this site and I'm learning of even more to travel to. I watch quite a few of the events on YouTube as that's where I spent my time instead of TV.

What are some of your favorite and highly recommended fly-ins across the US?

The WAAAM Fly-In (Hood River, OR) is high on my list.
