In the D/FW area it's 1.79 for a gallon of 87! I think I need to look for a 1500cc Civic and put the Mustang out to pasture for a while.

$1.79 around MSP as well. $1.73 at a Super America station a few blocks from my house.

Higher gas prices will save the environment...just ask Kerry about that 50 cent per gallon tax he wants to add on to the price of fuel. No more hummers or Tahoes!

Good riddance to those lumbering sh!t wagons anyway. All they want to do is drive next to a semi while they are in the left lane talking on their cell phone. When you go to pass em on the right when you get a chance, they floor it and chase you down the highway at 80 miles an hour flashing their lights and blowing the horn at you.

If you want to get rid of imports, let the gas prices rise, then nobody will be able to fill them tanks of those big trucks made in canada and mexico.

Any way you were saying your what hurts?

If only I could find some American car maker that would give me as good of a "quality" ride as my Mercedes 300 then I would switch.

The H2's are sharp, a good friend of mine just bought one last month and I was able to take it for a spin last week. I don't think the gas prices are going to pursued many people away from them since if they could not afford the gas then obviously they could not afford the $47,000 H2 sticker price. (food for thought):D

So in short even with astronomical gas prices there ain't no way this will get rid of the imports. !! !!

$1.69-$1.80 any were arround the cak, cle, pit, triangle...

$2.29- $2.69 here in the People's Republic of California.

COS gas prices

Paid $1.64 (85 Octane) in Castle Rock on Sunday. Sam's Club in COS was $1.67 and there is one station where it is $1.69.

I guess that I will hold on to my Honda since it is paid for and getting around 46 mpg.

I was in TUS 2 weeks ago and paid $1.81. Cost me $35.00 to fill up the Explorer!!! Ouch.

Southern New Mexico along I-10 was much cheaper than Az. I saw a $1.59 there, but it could have changed since.

I paid $2.13 for 87 octane in San Diego yesterday (4/13) Funny thing is that I paid 2.34 for 100LL up at Big Bear airport on Saturday (4/11). I think the cost of premium is about the same or greater than 100LL is at some of the lower price outlets in the SoCal area. Makes that mogas STC kind of useless.

Filled my SUV up at 2:00 p.m. today at 1.74 a gal
Drove my wife's sedan up to the same station at 6:00 p.m. to fill it, and it had jumped a dime up to 1.84 in those four hours.

Oh well, we still are way cheaper than most countries....

I paid a buck .69 for diesel this morning, I believe regular gas was a $1.72...I was checking out that Honda hybrid thing on the AOL startup page a few minutes ago, ugly but functional. This is in south Florida, btw.
