What credit cards do you guys/gals use? What kinda rewards do you get? Hotel, auto makers, rental cars, etc...

Credit cards

I prefer to use someone elses credit card, the perks suck for me but I am sure the owner of the card gets the frequent flyer miles and the rewards (always trying to help).

chase gives you 3% rebate on all gasoline, 1% on all other purchases...
may even get free bill pay on a couple of accounts over the web

I use the Marriott Visa... we stay at Marriott's all the time, so we get a ton of points there, the Visa helps make the pile grow faster...

AMEX you can never carry a balance for more than 30 days.

The very best credit cards are those that have no annual fee and with a 30-day grace period on finance charges. Pay off the card every month and it's free. Other things like FF miles and discounts are just frills. The object is to pay nothing for use of the card. As long as you do that, then any card (with or without frills) will work.
