Guys, it seems like I see the word "scab" written somewhere in at least half of the subjects posted on this board. Lets clear something up....
A "scab" is someone who crosses a picket line and performs struck work.
Now, in a lot of the situations posted here where the word "scab" is used to describe someone, I absolutely detest what they have done. But, they're almost always not scabs. Don't throw this word around. People who are new to the industry might go around using it without knowing what it means. If you see it and hear it every day, it looses its effectiveness when describing those who actually are scabs. It is a powerful word and it needs to be used correctly and only when the situation dictates.
