What is the difference between a flag, domestic and supplemental carrier? What types are the majors? Like AA or UAL, or SW?

Thanks!

Flag is international, domestic is within the continental U.S. and supplemental is charter. The majors are usually authorized to fly all three, but what an airline can fly is determined by its ops specs. Some limited international flying is done by domestic carriers (Canada and Mexico).

Hi...

The definitions that you're inquiring about are in listed §119.3.
