thanx for the info hazmat! do you by chance know how many days a week we train and what time during the day?
Day, Ha! You better forget that word. Just kidding, well about 2 years ago it was 1300-2300 for groung school and sim/flight was about 2000-0500 all times local. I'm sure someone that has been through more recently can put in a word.

Indy should be opening this week or next. You might just miss getting to bid for it, but who knows?

I really want DSM in the jet. I wonder if the guy up there will ever leave.

i really would like ind. since i don't have 1200 hours yet i doubt ill get it! i have to make it through training first.

They are not all open. Someone must leave that base before it comes open. When you bid a run you keep it till you leave. Some cities only have one run, others have lots. We get bid sheets every week. Last week the only run was a Lear SIC in STP. This week there will probably be 2 capt and 1 prop, maybe more. When you start with the company you don't usually get the best choice for bases. Just a warning.

where would be a good, cheap place to live or bid on? also, how does the whole jump seat thing work and is there a limit on how many times u use it?

There are not limits on jumpseating but it sucks flying all night then trying to jumpseat home when you get off in the morning. When you are new you get to bid whenever is open that week. There is no choice really, not when you're new. When you can bid later...... it totally depends on what you want. Some guys want money, others want easy days runs. You have to wait and watch the bid sheets each week. There was a 3 month period where there were no bid sheets. That won't happen again anytime soon but you just have to hold your breath till thursday nights.

Well you know, we do love our corn up here... so who knows.... And farmers daughters... mmmmmmm. But in your case you'd probably like it for the sheep and cows!!

well my friend, im not sure where "up here" is but where im from, we're known for that there corn. and our "farmers daughters" are the best there ever was. :D

The problem with farmer's daughters is their presence per square mile. Lets say that an average farm is 160 acres, so there are 4 per square mile. Now you have to factor in the odds of the daughter being good looking. Fair bet to say 4-6% of the population is datable (so says Seinfeld). We'll call it 5%. So for every 5 square miles there is one hot girl. So, for that one hotty every 5 square miles, she has to be of age, single and attracted to a freight dog. Highly unlikely. :(

As for the sheep and cows remark, thats puurrrrdddyyy low.

Indy and Minny on this weeks crappy bid sheet. We all need to get together and get some of these darn jet PIC's some jobs so that we can get some good movement going again.

anyone want to bid on indy for me? when my training is over ill move in for them! i wish it was that easy! can anyone tell me how hard training is.

From news i just heard this morning, we should have at least one Jet PIC spot come on the sheet next week...unfotunately it will most likely be a "reserve" spot in CMH. There goes another one i will not bid. Hey you DEN PIC's...Get another job so i can move up already!!!!

Man, I agree... time for these PIC guys to move. Well NetJets seems to be friendly to us and keeping with the name of AirNet North!
