Anyone have a clue about this kinda work in VA??? I am new to the state and was looking to the future... Thanks

Winchester, VA (OKV) has an air ambulance company. The name of the company escapes me right now. I am sure it would not be hard to look up. I had a buddy interview there. He was not real impressed with what he saw, but it might be the right place for you. I remember they had a Westwind and a C340. They also had a few planes down in Florida as well. If you need further details, just PM and I will get in touch with my buddy.

Knowing where you where in the state would help a bit, but (HEF) Manassas is growing like crazy. The east side of the field has so much new stuff that its pretty much unrecognizable from even just 2 years ago. I believe the new place is called Next Flight and from what I understand they have a bunch of jets and what not. If you are close its worth the drive to check out HEF because there are lots of other places on the field also. I believe one may be called Chantilly Air, but they might be at Dulles (IAD) just 15 miles up the road. I fly 121 now and learned to fly at HEF so I still go to HEF to pick up random stuff from the FBO I used to work at so all I know is there is a bunch of new stuff on the east side. If you are looking for a CFI job try Dulles Aviation 703 361 2171 and ask for Tom Adams hes the Chief CFI. They have 25+ planes and about the same number of CFI's. The CFI's stay pretty busy for the most part and they have in house mx and parts dept with about 10 mechs so the planes are usually fixed same day unless its something pretty major.

i am in RIC, and many thanks to those who sent along their info!!! a few resumes sent out, we will see what happens.....
