I just got checked out in a westwind 1123 over the weekend for part 91 operations. Im also a copilot in a citation. I charged $250 a day for the citation jig,but i was wondering because its a bigger aircraft sould i charge $300 a day? Just thought id ask around what the standard going rate for a westwind is.

Holy Sh!t a 1123 there are only 7 left flying in the US today. I'd say atleast 300 pr day plus per diem.

Is that thing RVSM? Can you even RVSM an 1123?

I can only imagine what the fuel burns are at FL280!

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm assuming can't RVSM an 1121 either?

Oh, and $300/day sounds fine.

Nope, the 1123 isnt rvsm certified, and yes its a pig at fl280, the plane is only worth $150,000, it almost got shipped to the graveyard..

I never flew the 1123, but I did fly the 1121 and 1124, and I knew guys who flew an 1123. They didn't have much good to say about it.

Does this one still have the APU? The story I heard was that the 1123 APU burned more than the 731 at idle, which is one reason they got rid of it on the 1124.
