I was just wondering if their were any WestAir UE pilots around.

I was there from 1988 - 1998

97-98. Ahhhh the good years. I'm not sure how much I count though (other than losing my job because of $#!+ hole MESA) I was just an FNG.:D

Yea Mesa was a Real Piece of #$%** Work (Wife wants me to stop cussing so much). I still believe we would all still have been working their, if it wasn’t for L.R. (Rest his Soul) and the Rest of the Farmington A-holes.

Lest I digress, If any of the old group are around I just wanted to say Howdy. I'm working as a Freight Dog flying a DC-8 at
ATI. You can see to the left our travel privileges.

Any of you know or keep in touch with G.M.?

G.M? Who?

P.S. Sorry about the MESA Comment, Still lots of Bad feelings about MESA, Not for the Pilot Group, But for Risley (R.I.P.), Mr. Ornstein and the rest who saw fit to driving WestAir into the ground!

I was at WestAir, 89-92. J31-FAT based.

Was also unfortunate to fly at Mesa for three months in '89. 240 hours of flight time in 3 months, including ground school. Yeah I had the pleasure of sharing hotel rooms with Mickey Moman and Mike Whitman. Those were the good old days, it was a treat to get up first to take the first sh*t and use the clean shower.

Mesa sucked. WestAir was great.

Randy, MrSky,

I believe that I flew with you at the great WestAir. I like your aviatar and your screen name. It says it all. You were very positive and up beat to fly with. It’s a pleasure to be able to call you MrSky.

WestAir was a very fun & more fun professional atmosphere. I looked forward to going to “work” everyday.

As a point of humor this threat should have been stated in the majors section. WestAir if it was still around would have been one of the top majors if not the #1 major.

It’s too bad that ACA didn’t make it. It sounds like the WestAir spirit prevailed to the end.

God Bless
Scot L
