WCC Info

CA Mins are 2000TT 500Turbine
Pay for Capts is industry average plus full benifits
Schedule is about 5 on two off, with some roaming around the 4 and 3 mark

FO Mins are 1500TT 500Multi with some turbine experience preferred
Pay for FO's is about 30 with benifits
Schedule is 4 hard days off a month, although you will not be flying 26 days a month.... averages about 8-10 days off a month.

Its a GREAT company, making lots of improvements all the time. Quality of life is excellent, and the people are great there. Real family company. Fun flying, easy work, good equipment, and a nice small company atmoshpere. Still improving things all the time, but compared to the regionals, and the major fractional providers, a MUCH better way to go.

WCC Hiring

If you are looking for an alternative to low paying regionals, then WCC is the place to go. If you are currently at a regional and have some turbine experience, then it is possible to get upgraded in the B350 within 6 months.
There is a lot of variety, and you gain a lot of good flying experience. At the same time, there is an opening for an entry level jet position within the company and WCC will hire from within before advertising. Overall whatever your goal is, you will become more marketable to other 135s, 121s, and 91 corp.
Please feel free to PM me for info.
Thanks and fly safe!

Can anyone tell me about maintenance/aircraft condition? Are they pretty good or are the cockpits covered in stickies saying, "Defered per MEL"?

Also....Capt's pay? Anyone have hard numbers for the KA90/200/300's???

Thanks for the earlier input.

Eric

WCC mainteneance

Good maintenance, although last week the pump motor on the toilet was not working properly. MELs and any maintenance issues are taken care of immediately, so no complaints. For further info, look at the website, stop by our office, and talk to the assistant chief pilot(if in SNA). Here is the link to the website:

Thanks Aviator1X1...

I've been to the website but haven't had time to call the Asst. CP. Don't know when I'll be in SoCal so a stop-by may be a while.

Hey all. WCC is a great place to work. For the FO's if you've got low time, but a good head on your shoulders, strong training background, and good ADM skills, you'll do just fine. It is not a company looking to babysit poorly trained and ill-equiped pilots. The equipment is well maintained, NOT covered in stickies on MEL's or anything else. The pay is better than any regional job for FO's at any year length, and the Captain's pay is above almost all regional jet jobs. Its a good company to get some good experience. If you are a serious pilot, looking for a family atmosphere, nice equipment, fun trips, and the ability to afford more than a cardboard box in Fresno your first year, then WCC is a great place. Minimums for FO's are 1500TT and 500 Multi to be in real consideration (don't quote me as a gouge tho). Turbine time is a plus as well. Great place to call home for awhile.
